Repair of Weather Damaged Silo with FRP
Located in Elk River, Minnesota, a fly ash silo that was part of a major power plant exhibited extensive weathering damage to the masonry surface. A previous repair solution using gunite was insufficient as excessive cracking was still evident, but retrofit by FRP Construction was able to successfully repair the silo surface.
