Structural Repair of Shear Walls with FRP

The McKinley Towers had remained vacant for many years, abiding by seismic code following a major earthquake in 1964. QuakeWrap FRP system was chosen to structurally repair the McKinley Towers. Shear walls were retrofitted with glass or carbon FRP depending on the required amount of strengthening. The thickness of the walls increased by an eighth of an inch.
